Even with the sun shining...it's stinkin' cold!!

Even as I type this my fingers are a bit numb...this morning I woke up to 8 degrees outside...now many of you are probably experiencing even colder temperatures than I am...but, I am a wimp! I get cold in the summer time...I wear sweatshirts with the air conditioner...

My mother in law invited us (me and three kids) to breakfast...getting three kids under 6 out the door on this cold morning by 8:45 was tough. Even the wet wipes that were left in the car were frozen...let's just say sticky fingers stayed sticky because I couldn't pry apart the wipes.

My husband and I lived in Southern California for 3 years...it was the warmest 3 years of my life. I always had on flip-flops...coming home from vacation was like, going home to vacation. My children always had tans and I didn't look like I was deprived of iron with my pale white face.

Oh, how I long for warmer weather...I want the sun on my face. I want to get warm...I think today will consist of blankets and the fireplace!!
